Family is looking to switch to just internet and getting a firestick + a good streaming service. YouTube TV seems to have everything my parents want to watch and more. But its not available in Canada.
I read you can get a VPN, + US Paypal to pay for it and watch it on a PC. But is it possible to get it working on a firestick? If so, would I [gaming pc user who doesnt want any problems with my activity] have to run a VPN on my pc every time / 24/7 for my parents to use YouTube TV?
I use windscribe on my firestick. Works well. I think it’s in the app store.
Why not getting Google TV with Chromecast instead of Firestick?
You can run many popular VPN apps directly on the FireTV.

Hello, I have Firestick TV on 2 TVs in my house. How the heck do you get CTV on them? It keeps asking me for my provider but it’s not cable, just streaming internet with Telus. Nothing is working as it asked me for an account and won’t let make one. This is the only channel I can’t get

I second this. I use it too and it does the job.
I am mainly trying really hard to get the channels I know they love [The SN_ and TSN sports + investigation discovery is 70% of the time whats on]. But trying to get that mix is starting to become real brutal.

All you need is a Google TV with Chromecast, and IPTV sub + r/Tivimate
