Any chance we might see a WiFiMan or VPN app for Apple TV soon? I’m specifically looking for the VPN feature. I travel with an AppleTV and would be nice to be able to VPN back to my home network.
I would expect somebody to eventually release an apple tv WG client, but who knows when it comes to Teleport.
Tailscale now works on the aTV fwiw.
I was looking for the WireGuard VPN client on my Apple TV 4K, but it doesn’t exist. It would work nicely. Use it on my iPhone to access ChannelsDVR app from home.
I see that they made a Protect app for the Apple TV, which I thought was pretty nice, so hopefully they’ll consider a VPN one too.
WifiMan would also be fun for signal strength & speed tests.
Maybe get a UX and use it as a travel router. Connect via site to site and vpn back that ways
I fell this would be so helpful for when streaming channels decide to make sure accounts are only in one household.

$150 for a feature that could be built into Apple TV itself. Your way works, but built-in would be better.
One less item in my carry on would be nice. Good idea. But yeah, when TVOS has it built in, why not use that?
