There are so many VPN providers out there, but which provides the best speeds for streaming and gaming? I know that a VPN does affect the overall internet speeds but there are some that do not impact it that significantly. Any suggestions?
There’s a huge number of factors that play into speeds.
The short version would be: Find a VPN that has a good reputation for speed (doesn’t severely oversell their bandwidth) and server locations that are close to you. “Premium” VPNs tend to have lower user loads and therefore substantially higher speeds.
Most VPNs have a free trial or money back guarantee… so try a few of them and choose the one that’s fastest for you.
No problems with gaming , torrent and streaming in pia here. no disconects no lag spikes and my ping just gets 7 höher while iam on pia (from 30 AVG to 37-39 AVG ) non logging and cheap atlest on the german , sweden , netherland Server others i dont use
For best speed configure your own VPN on virtual/dedicated server close to your location. A bit more pricey, but i am able to push/pull 100Mb/sec L2TP/IPSec with 15 EUR VPS.
