Whats going on here?
Hello u/MarcoMontana!
Some time ago, Chrome implemented some new rules around Chrome extensions like the VyprVPN Proxy Extension. Our extension, along with a number of other similar extensions, were removed from the Chrome store.
We’d like to revisit the VyprVPN Chrome Proxy Extension in the future - though we can’t make any specific commitments at this time, please know that our product team is watching the VyprVPN Subreddit closely for feedback - posts like this are extremely valuable to us, so please let us know if there’s anything else you’d like to see return, improve, change, etc.!
Ok, but other VPN brands have there proxy extensions still there?
Surf Shark
Torguard
Windscribe
Etc. I see no reason Vypr can’t change whatever coding necessary and re add it!
