Long time PIA VPN user. It hates Malwarebytes, who also hates it. It’s hit or miss for torrenting. You cannot set up VPN Fusion connections on an Asus router. Starting looking around and tried other VPNs.
Along comes Surfshark… WOW!!!
Tons of config and setups using wireguard. VPN Fusion is a breeze.
Excellent for Geolocation so I can watch BBC iPlayer and ITVX.
Insane torrenting download speeds, and I mean insane! I have a 1Gig connection and it uses every drop of that speed, seems even faster for torrenting.

I’m also such a happy customer. I had an issue with it disconnecting on my samsung however I reinstalled the app and since it’s worked great. I love the price the fact I can get incogni, one of the best vpns, and a very respectable anti-virus for like $110 a year is insane value and I love it so much. Unless another vpn comes out of nowhere with the same product value as surfshark idk if I’ll ever switch to another vpn.
I too am a happy new customer. Switched from Mullvad since I started digital nomading. Plus I’m pretty paranoid about searching myself, so the incogni of one+ helps me sleep at night So far no issue with banks (when I forget to turn it off), streaming, etc. and speeds are superb.
I also new customer been using for 1 month now and I extremely satisfied with the speed in SEA countries compare to other vpn providers. Good work Surfshark I will recommend to my friends as well
For torrenting, how do you maintain security like did you just bind it to qBittorrent and its secure that way? Really want to buy the vpn with only torrenting as the last consideration
Well I can tell you right now the anti-virus is great and saved my ass before, I love the alternate Id option they have and now it’s getting an auto fill feature on windows, and incogni is always great because me personally I don’t want me home address out on the internet for anyone to see. I also love how they have a data breach alert system so if any of my cards, emails, or even my social or drivers license gets out they will let me know about it. I love surfshark and honestly I Don’t think I’ll ever go to another vpn provider unless maybe nordvpn. But they don’t have unlimited junker of devices for one account like surfshark does. Hell I have four personal devices that have surfshark so having unlimited amount is very nice.
NordVPN was not as good for me, and did not have the features I wanted, like Fusion VPN set-up. FYI NordVPN bought surfshark a couple of years back, but they left them alone after they purchased them.
How does that “alternate ID” work? Sounds interesting.
The alternate Id gives you an alternate address, name, and email for when you sign up for website like disney+ for example. The email is tied to your normal email so you still get the emails but the businesses can’t see it. Same with name and address.
