UK VPN struggling

Had ProtonVPN for a couple of months now and has been great.

But the last week it’s really been struggling - using UK servers.

Anyone else? Just seems to stop working, then after 2 mins will be fine again, or I have to very frequently change server (which I very rarely had to do before). It’s explicitly evident when watching any video (Youtube/streaming etc), it’ll just stop for a few minutes before continuing.

If I disconnect the VPN completely - then everything/my normal connection works perfectly.

It’s the same behaviour across all my devices - an iMac, iPad and iPhone.

Note: I do not, and never have, had ‘Secure Core’ on as I know this can slow things down.

Hi, I mainly use UK servers through Proton 99% of the time usually I have a ton of random server number configs which I use through Openvpngui for Windows both UDP and TCP but mainly TCP as its more stable on my connection but not had any issues here using a mobile 5G travel router. I’ve got multiple devices streaming Iplayer and Youtube when at home with 0 lag or buffering. I’m right on the edge of my local 5G mast so sometimes the connection can switch to 4G+ for several minutes but I don’t notice when this occurs. I sometimes use Wireguard configs with no issues. I can remain connected to a specific server all day with no disconnects.
