Trying to use CLI to control HMA VPN but with no success

Newbie here, I’m trying to use CLI commands in order to turn on/turn off HMA VPN but nothing happens except for the desktop app opening up.
I’ve followed the official instructions of HMA knowledge base, but they don’t seem to work as instructed… what am I missing?

For example, this should connect the VPN:

“C:\Program Files (x86)\HMA! Pro VPN\bin\HMA! Pro VPN.exe” -connect

But it doesn’t, even when the desktop app is already open.

Hi, I am facing the same problem. In my case, I want to set a connection (disconnection) to HMA VPN through one hotkey. Have you managed to solve this problem? I would really appreciate your answer.

Following up on this - I’ve actually got a response from HMA (after a really long time) and they said that they are decommissioning support for this… so I guess there won’t be a solution :person_shrugging:

Hey, sorry for the delay - I haven’t found a solution for this yet.
I’ve contacted HMA support but they have been completely incompetent unfortunately.
Let me know if you find a solution!

Hello there! Funny that I completely forgot I asked this question :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:. As for the HMA VPN, no, I never found a solution.
