I recently got a VPN for my iPhone and have been using it to watch Netflix during my commute. However, data used when the VPN is active doesn’t appear to be tracked by iOS (Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data).
Is there some any way to find out how much data has been used so I don’t go over my cap?

Depending on which you use, it might say how much in the VPN app.
it sounds like a bug, since you must be using the VPN you wont be able to connect otherwise ( assume your non USA person trying to use the USA version)
if your worried about maybe reset the phone
I’m on Android and it gives me my exact VPN app usage. I have my VPN on 24/7 and it’s not much for the month. About 140 mb a month.
That number hasn’t gone up though. It’s been at the same number for a few days (excluding normal data usage without the VPN active), but I’ve watched two 45-minute episodes of TV since then so I know it must be more. The data usage displayed by the Netflix app has also remained at 222MB (from Before I installed the VPN), and data usage on the VPN app itself is shown at 300kb.
It’s PIA. I hadn’t thought of looking in the app itself, but I just did and don’t see anything about data usage. Thank you for the suggestion though.

It definitely could, but it’s been at 222MB since before I installed the VPN. I’m at a loss
