Sonicwall vpn client 2fa?

Has anyone been able to setup 2fa on NSA firewall and gvc ?

I believe you need to use SSLVPN not GVPN to use 2FA

No native SonicWall 2FA for GVC. 2FA on SSL VPN with NetExtender and Mobile Connect, no problem.

You should be able to use TOTP without issue directly in the user accounts. Alternatively you could use DUO, but that would require additional licensing.

I haven’t seen support for that in GVC, but with GVC you can make it use a cert instead of PSK.

If you use RADIUS to auth users, can use Duo or other MFA service that can act as RADIUS server.

Not on GVC, but on SSLVPN it takes 30 sec to enable TOTP

Users use the Google or Microsoft Authenticator app for MFA

Only on NetExtender / Mobile Connect or SMA Portals.

AFAIK no 2FA on GVC.

I agree with this. Never tried MFA on GVC since F**k GVC but since MFA is attached to the users and not the VPN service I would assume GVC would also require MFA…definitely could be wrong and curious since I’m guessing OP already had MFA setup prior to asking this.
