Makar will beat Hughes for sure but if you were to compare teams that Coffey, Leetch and Makar played their first 300 games with it’s pretty remarkable stat.

Yeah, nah….Cale Makar is the better active player between the two. More points in less games and twice as many goals as Hughes. Both have a long way to go to catch other active players in league that are past their prime, but they are on the right track.

Hughes is undoubtedly better than Makar. Makar’s defense is questionable at many times. Hughes is always elite defensively.
