EDIT : I could get inti it! I installed the apps!
Hi all, I am following all the steps proposed by Proton to install the VPN app on Linux Ubuntu but it seems I can’t get to it. Anybody could help with this ?
https://protonvpn.com/support/official-ubuntu-vpn-setup/
I am stuck at sudo apt-get install proton-vpn-gnome-desktop
Output : Unable to find package proton-vpn-gnome-desktop
Thanks!
Did you download the .deb package that adds the repository to your default package manager? 1st thing in the instructions:
- Download the setup package for the Proton VPN repository
This package contains the repository configuration and keys that are required t>o install the Proton VPN app. It is not the app itself.
Download the Proton VPN DEB package. After that you do sudo apt-get update
to update the package lists in the repos. Then try the sudo apt-get install proton-vpn-gnome-desktop
.
I got there last night. I believe I hadn’t double-clicked and installed the deb package in the first place.
