Plex Pass subscription using VPN

Hi All,

I am trying to buy Plex Pass lifetime subscription using Argentina VPN as the price is significantly lower compared to US but once I login to my account the prices seem to update to $USD. Anyway to get around this ?

You pay for Plex Pass to help support the future development of Plex. Trying to spend less really only hurts you in the end.

You pay the usd and boom! Problem solved

Probably when you setup your account it knows you are not in Argentina.

The easiest solutions, as I see them are:

  1. Actually move to Argentina.
  2. Pay USD

I wouldn’t recommend trying to get around region prices by region swapping. I don’t know if Plex would cancel your account for it, but it would be pretty easy to track if they wanted to.

Really though, if the account you’re using is not in that country it probably defaults to the local currency
