Not too long ago reddit taught me about Hola, just thought i’d pass it along to anyone who didnt know.
Be aware that Hola will use you as a exit node or as an intermediate node if you’re not paying for premium. If somebody does something malicious and you’re the exit node then you may be liable for it depending on your country of residence. If you’re just an intermediate node in their P2P network then you’ll have some of your upstream/downstream used up by Hola when it is running.
Apparently Hola is malware, try [zenmate] (http://zenmate.com) instead,
It’s worth noting that if you have a DvD plan from Netflix, this method does not work. You will get the message, “Unfortunately your account is restricted to streaming only within the 50 United States and its territories.” due to your mailing address being in the USA.
If your account is streaming-only, any global VPN will work. As others have noted, using Hola can potentially put you in some unsavory circumstances. If you’re planning on doing this regularly, you should probably find a different VPN.
Someone also stated that Hola contains malware.
Only thing I suggest to everyone is to disable hola when you don’t need it.
Its written in their fine print that they are using your data and reselling it. So… Ya…

Just a little tip, turn it off if you’re looking at porn. I got blocked yesterday because i was using a uk vpn.
but not when my netflix account says it only works in the US…sadly
iam amazed that we pay more in the UK (£5.99 for basic) which is more than america ($7.99=£4.74), yet we have access to a third of what american do (over 15,000 titles USA/ UK under 5000 titles. What the heck netflix?! Ps do any americans know if taxes are paid on top of the 7.99, that would make me feel a bit better…)
A prime example of why copyright law is completely ridiculous and the Internet should be treated like another country instead of try to implement arbitrary geographic restrictions.
TIL I have access to more titles on Netlflix in Norway than the Swedes have.

Google failed to deliver me something that told me where to find specific titles, so I was just randomly selecting other countries to view Netflix from. Thanks for telling me about this!
