I started using nord. Speeds are excellent, but the stability is like 0/10. I’m using their windows app (based on openvpn) and every 40 minutes to 2h i wil get randomly disconnected from the server and the connection just dies. No matter which server, it will happen sooner or later.
Anyone else having same issue?
No. Try OpenVPN just to see it the app is to blame or the server. I’d also contact support.
No been connected to same server for a week. Well actually since Monday its now Saturday here.
Could be server overload as that happens with my favorites too. I have to keep switching different servers which is a pain
Just as a heads up, make sure you don’t have any other firewall software that could be interfering with your connection. I experienced this same issue, but even more often than every hour, and it all started when I installed GlassWire to track connections. After uninstalling GlassWire, my internet connection went back to being stable.
They really need to throw some more options in the app. Like automatically switching to another server when the one you’re connected to is overloaded. Maybe even where you can set a threshold, say 75%, to automatically trigger a switch.
