I own the latest generation of Apple TV 4K, and I’ve been using IPVanish VPN without any issues for months. However, recently I haven’t been able to connect to any server. Every time I try, it just gets stuck on “connecting” (tried multiple countries).
Here’s what I’ve tried so far with no luck:
• Restarted the Apple TV.
• Ticked the “Connect by IP address” option (which is recommended if you’re having trouble connecting).
• Logged out and logged back in.
• Reinstalled the app.
Has anyone experienced this or have any suggestions? What should I do next?

Try turning off “Kill Switch” and when it connects re-enable it.
Have same issue can somebody help me? It keeps saying connecting
I don’t have Apple TV but try rebooting your cable modem and router. I’ve had this fix issue where could not connect from my PC.
Hi Guys, if anyone is seeing this behavior on their Apple TV, it is either that your DNS settings are not configured properly on the apple TV or there is an issue with your account where you are not able to connect with the IKEv2 protocol. If it is the latter, you just need to contact us.

Have actually the same issue, can’t find kill switch option in the Apple TV app
I solved by not using for a week, and randomly it has started working again…
