How to fix Version Correction on PC, Mobile and PS5

ON PC

• Download a free VPN (example: Proton VPN)
• Turn it on
• Open the game and login

ON MOBILE

• Download a free VPN (example: Proton VPN)
• Turn it on
• Open the game and login

ON PS5

• Go in Settings > Network > Settings > Set Up Internet Connection
• Go on your connection and press Options on your controller
• Press on Advanced Settings
• On Primary DNS set 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1
• On Secondary DNS set 8.8.4.4 or 1.0.0.1
• Press on Ok and then run a test
• Open the game and login

Massive thumbs up for Proton VPN. Though I would recommend Cloudflare’s 1.1.1.1 dns over Google’s 8.8.8.8. Google doesn’t exactly have the best history of respecting user’s privacy.

This works! Encountered this issue this morning and instant success - just used the quick connect feature with Proton Free VPN.

Sometimes, for no reasons, if you launch the game, it get stuck in the title screen with a text that says “Version Correction” and then nothing happens. Even if you restart the game, it still get stuck.

So i made a guide, especially for those who are on PS5 to fix this problem.
