How do I stop chrome from complaining about my VPN? Or do I have to suck it up
Google search always has this problem with VPNs… Use duckduckgo or startpage instead.
Because the ip address you are using is used by other people using that same vpn server, google wants to know you are not a robot. I don’t think there is much you can do to stop it.
Use duckduckgo. Please
Google doesn’t want you to use a VPN. Just stop using Google products.
Ironically I only get this same problem with chrome. Switch to Brave or Firefox.
It took me way to long to realise the line on the side was the edge of your laptop, I thought something was wrong with my screen.
The issue isn’t with using a VPN, it is the Network the VPN links to. If there are 100 people using it then lots of popular sites will see 100x the usual traffic coming from that single IP and show you one of those robot checks.
Solution is to setup your own private VPN or use a dedicated VPN host who gives you your own dedicated IP which is preferably residential.
Avoid chrome if possible.
Every other time I click onto a new page, I have to complete like three captchas. Sometimes it gets stuck in a loop of infinite robot tests. I tried poking around in settings and nothing jumped out at me as something that could stop it from checking on me.
Yall really don’t look at URLs before you comment do you
Edit: I guess it is YouTube (and therefore google) complaining and not my browser, but duckduckgo etc. Aren’t going to replace YouTube.
You could check out startpage and Whoogle if you like a search engine with Google results
Bad provider most likely tbh. Never had problems like these with my own provider on google i get them on sites who run their own Anti botting systems but Google never thinks im a bot. Or it could be bad server but still.
Happens also if you turn on the vpn and go immediately to incognito.
You can log into your google account to prevent this, but that might defeat the purpose of using a VPN for you, since google would be able to start tracking you. Or you can make a burner google account and use it instead.
I just use StartPage.
Use Brave browser instead
I think I only get that on vpn when I’m either not logged in my Google/gmail account or when I’m in incognito mode.
Yeah, unfortunately there’s no way around it. I would reccomend Ecosia.org, they plant trees for searches.
