Has anyone any experience with the vpns on the Xbox store?
Better would be to setup a VPN from a reputable provider for your whole network instead of trusting those listed in the store. They look rather sketchy to me.
AnyConnect is a legit company, but I can’t vouch for that app (the app may be a scam)

Any connect and sonicwall are fine but require you to host your own endpoints.

If you want a VPN your best bet is to configure it to run off your router, it’s fairly straightforward on most modern ones. If you’re determined to run it off an app on your Xbox the only remotely trustworthy ones I see there are the SonicWall or AnyConnect ones, as SonicWall and Cisco are reputable hardware companies.
If you want a VPN on your Xbox, add your VPN configuration to your router. Even if you download these apps, who says they’ll stay open in the background while you play games?
AnyConnect is legit but this is only a Client to connect to existing VPNs you have the credentials for. Like Work or College

I‘d not get a digital one for the Xbox but one for your whole network itself. Sure it’s not as convenient but it’s indefinitely more secure then whatever can be bought on the Xbox Store.

Don’t bother. Setup a network wide VPN. Use a Raspberry Pi if you can get your hands on one at least.
Just add one from your router and even then I personally have a VPN for all of my personal devices, but anything console or smart tv/Apple TV I don’t bother. Specially on Xbox or consoles cause every ms of delay makes the difference between winning a victory royal or losing one haha
