Hello.
Just wondering to mysef here, is GP 6.2.5 out yet?
I can see in the CSP to download it but why does it have a “weird” name like GlobalProtect64-6.2.5-c788.msi.
6.3.1 which came out at the same time does not have any build number.
Is this normal?
Would you advise 6.2.5 or 6.3.1?

C788 is just the build number, usually associated with a hot fix versus. It’s normal.

6.3.1 does have a c383 hot fix as well.

As for what version to use, it’s ultimately up to you and your environment. 6.3.x is a newer code platform, so more features, 6.2.x is older, so more mature.

Evaluate known issues and test.

Those not in a rush should wait for 6.2.6.

So far 6.2.5 has been good for our early adopters. We’ve had so many issues since 6.2.2 with the other releases in between that finally this one seems stable

We’ve been piloting 6.2.5 with some users. So far, no issues. Also, no issues with IT users who should be able to uncover major issues.

There was a 6.2.5 build distributed to some customers about a week ago, then they released 6.2.5-788 GA with two extra bug fixes this week.

We upgraded to 6.2.5, no issues with prisma access, but when we try to connect to our OOB or Onprem firewall it keeps hanging on finding the best gateway ( doesn’t propose to use a different username ) …

6.2.6 was just released and this version transparently upgrades without issues. No clients stuck connecting so far.

6.2.5 is the first fixed version from the latest CVE bunch. Lots of people won’t be able to wait

Same. We’ve tested with about 40 users across windows and macOS and it’s working great so far. Also fixes the HIPS issues for macOSv15

I had issues with updates going into a limbo connection state, fixed with a reboot. Waiting for fixed 6.1.5
