Hello, I’m running Frostwire with a VPN. I’ve checked my IP address on ipleak and canyouseeme and the VPN is working. But, on my VPN detector in the tray on Frostwire it has a red dot meaning not connected. On my phone it has the green dot. I’m just wondering will my ISP be able to see me on Frostwire? Thanks
This might be obvious, but have you tried restarting both Frostwire and the VPN? I had a similar issue once and that fixed it for me. Anyway, if your VPN is working correctly, your ISP shouldn’t be able to see your Frostwire activity.
I was this many days old when I found out the frost wire was still in existence and had converted itself to a BitTorrent client years ago. I had no idea. And my usage of such things deep back to Napster of course but a program that very few people seem to remember scour exchange.
Yes I have tried restarting both multiple times but still have the problem. The VPN is definitely working and I have it set up with drop protection and it is working. I’m having problems finding files on Frostwire. Any recommendations on that would be greatly appreciated.
