DAZN is recently asking for pay per view when I’m using a VPN from a different country, so I’m guessing it’s blocking IP addresses. Is there any way to fix this? I’ve tried clearing cache, logging back in, etc. I’ve even tried more than one VPN.
The account has been made with a mail of the country you are trying to watch in with the vpn and so you are paying with the country’s currency or you are using an account from another country and then the vpn to stream?

Me too please. I cannot watch anything. Nord vpn doesn’t do the job anymore
What region did you sign up in ? DAZN logins are no longer portable and you can only watch in the region you signed up in.

It’s because they’ve introduced tiered pricing in other regions, particularly in Europe, eg in Spain you now have to pay extra for all La Liga games and in Italy you have to pay extra for Serie A. Therefore if you’re not paying for the extra tier you will see PPV on the thumbnail.
The trick is to VPN to a country that has the rights that doesn’t have tiered pricing.

If I use my VPN and sign up for it in Italy, will it work? Or will they know I’m in the US and say error?

It’s not the service, it’s DAZN that’s blocking IP addresses. Usually express VPN works great…not so much anymore.
It could potentially work if you create an Italian Google account and pay via Italian Google Play, however the top tier of Italian DAZN is now very expensive, equivalent to $43 (US) a month.
Depending what content you wanted to watch, if it’s Serie A or other soccer and you’re based in the US it’s far cheaper to subscribe to Paramount+ for $5 a month, gives you all Serie A, Champions League, Argentine and Brazilian leagues etc. Likewise ESPN+ in the US gives you all La Liga, Bundesliga and more for $10 a month.
Because Italy is an EU country an Italian account would only allow you to watch Italian DAZN in other EU countries, therefore you wouldn’t be able to access Spanish or German DAZN using a VPN with an Italian account.
VPN is fine, you need a better way to get the matches
