I have just had this issue start occurring in the past few weeks, been a user of the CloudFlare WARP app since Day 1.
Recently, my IP is getting set to distant places, completely different Countries than I am even in…India, Japan, Indonesia. I am in the U.S. This is wreaking havoc on my apps. The other day I was trying to post something on Facebook Marketplace and it suggested the currency of Indonesian Rupiah. Google often shows up in other languages I can’t read.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, resetting the app, no luck. I submitted a ticket to CF but never heard anything back.
Any ideas how to solve this? I have read reports that CF will use “the most efficient route” but I have a hard time believing the most efficient route for me goes through Indonesia.

Check the Cloudflare Status page and look for your nearest location: https://www.cloudflarestatus.com/
If you see Re-routed next to it, that is very likely what’s causing the different locations. There is not much you can do about it from your side until it’s fixed, if that is the case.

To make Google always default to English results, either login or use this link to set the do not country redirect cookie: Google
I have this exact same thing… I’m in Oceania, and I was getting ads on YouTube for India. Been a Warp user since day dot and never had this issue before.
Do you use wireguard protocol or MASQUE ?

It’s happening with me as well. I have a Warp+ and whenever connected, it shows my location/IP as Singapore.
Really frustrating as I have to disable repeatedly for local Google searches and other stuff.
Your problem is something i really want, does anyone here knows how I make cloudeflare warp to change my ip to another country? I’m from syria and need it for gaming because of its speed, other vpns causes a high ping but the past week when warp was giving me an IP from other countries I was able to play smoothly, anyone knows if I could do anything to make it give me an Ip from anothe country?
I switched to MASQUE when they released it, I really prefer it overall. I have noticed it is a lot faster connecting when switching between Wifi and Cellular. But maybe I need to switch back to Wireguard because of this issue.
Changing to wireguard doesn’t solve the issue also (for me at least)
