In light of the recent Ivanti disaster, what are decent WebVPN (clientless) alternatives? I.e. a portal with access to internal apps (html & javascript with proper rewriting, and suppot if the rewriting is not working) and HTML5 RDP access?
Looks like most manufacturers are phasing this out because “not secure” (I guess they want to sell fat clients and ZTNA and whatnot).
Unfortunately deploying clients on (potentially private) mobile phones generates resistance with the users, which is understandable, and would entail that we’d have to deploy our own fleet of mobile phones etc.
Cloudbrink is a good alternative to Ivanti. It’s my company and our founders came from Ivanti (Pulse Secure) and saw a better way so they created Cloudbrink. While it’s not clientless (yet), it is 100% software based and has performance and security features not available by any other remote access service today. Worth a look.
