Hi guys, i’m pretty new to Streamio and loving it so far. It works perfectly on my computer, however, I am having issues casting to my TV when I have a VPN turned on.
Error: "Could not update casting device info: Streaming server might be offline “Failed to Fetch”
Is there any way around this? Thank you
Are both your Tv and device you are casting from connected to the same VPN?
You might have to disconnect from the vpn to cast to the TV as you have to be on the same network and you’re TV won’t be on the same vpn network
You can’t cast to your TV while on a VPN. It has to be the same network. Disconnect your VPN to cast your shows/movies.
Disable VPN for loopback address. This is usually allowed by VPN clients but can have many different names. Basically it means that local traffic will not be going throug VPN. Also sometimes it is required to add Chromecast ip address to be excluded from VPN.
Get real debrid and quit paying for a vpn. If your VPN isn’t shit then you’re paying more for the vpn anyway.
