You have to scroll and read through the thread. Basically a copyright troll is sending out summons and working with the government to nail people. People who aren’t replying to the summons are getting nailed with default judgments for the max of 5k. Theres a link somewhere in there where you can see all the claimants and defendents. It’s awful.
Don’t believe what the Avast website says. The site I mentioned above, if searched for Avast SecureLine, says Avast logs timestamps, how much bandwidth is used, and your IP.
And avaast has been lying to their users for years. What’s new?
So they can see that you downloaded something and at what time, but not what you downloaded.
