Via a vpn and which one or are most blocked? I’ve been told by a few providers android devices don’t work at moment is this true?

Yes, I had a long-term PIA subscription but they haven’t bothered to really support geohopping for years now. Recently I read a good review of SurfShark, and since their two-year plan is only a little more per month than PIA’s I went for it. So far it has performed perfectly with both Netflix and BBC iPlayer. From Canada I have successfully watched Netflix catalogs from America and the UK.
SurfShark is considerably less than the perennial recommendations (ExpressVPN and NordVPN) but so far seems to be pretty comparable performance-wise.
Keep writing threads like this and you may be blocked. I mean you want to use a VPN, to bypass Netflix country checking, since their content is protected by copy-write law that is illegal.

I use ExpressVPN no problem at all. Not all US locations work but a few do and I’ve been using them for years now.
In uk and use IPVanish , usually Atlanta server and Netflix us works fine
I use NordVPN with Netflix on our Fire TV Stick 4K Max almost daily. Rarely get blocked. If I do get blocked, I simply find another server that works. It’s usually not an issue.
I don’t use any VPN and get everything I need by using smart DNS proxy, it’s cheaper and less bandwidth overhead than VPN. Works for US Netflix, BBC Iplayer, etc etc etc (check the list of apps-services it supports) have a referral discount if anyone wants it 
All you do to set it up on the device is put into two DNS servers when you join the wifi, and you do that by pressing advanced on the connection. They actually tell you how to set up any device you like with their FAQ section and guides. I had a problem with channel 4 and sent a message on chat and got connected to 24hr live support, and they were technical, not just log and flog, and helped me out instantly.
What server for FireStick ? I’m in uk and USA ones don’t work from Surfshark

Done trying nord now way better then Surfshark which worked but confusing menu , Nord is cleaner and I hat selected USA

Make sure Netflix is not running in the background when you change VPN settings. Set location, then start Netflix.
As a quick test I just selected “United States - Buffalo” and then used a web search for US-exclusive Netflix movies to find “Final Account”, which does not show up in my available movies here in Canada with no VPN active. With SurfShark active, not only did it find the movie, but I was able to start streaming it immediately.
I suppose it’s possible that SurfShark US endpoints don’t work with Netflix from the UK, but I doubt it, and it works perfectly for me here in Canada.

Look at the link I posted above, thaysy the service I use. It’s literally a case of entering two dns servers onto the wifi connection on the firestick. Read what their product is all about, it’s superior to a VPN as no overheads in traffic, therefore faster.
