Windows 11 always on vpn

Testing out win 11, with GP 6.2.2.2. What we are seeing is that explorer gui doesn’t load for about 25 minutes (start menu is not there or items in task bar) after you have entered the password. Same config as win 10 where we don’t have such issues. Has anyone run into similar situation?

Edit:

Resolution is to set pre-logon tunnel rename to 0. The default of -1 worked fine for win 10

Nope not seen anything like that.

Have you removed GP to see if the Windows 11 machine will work?

We had another third product hooking into the StartMenuExperienceHost app and other processes which broke logins. Not Global Protect.

I assume you use the same parameters for the install so that you have the PLAP (the ability to see GP status at login screen)
