I guess I’m slow to hearing about this but just learned today that my state has turned into China along with Montana and blocked me from my human right to watch porn- particularly redtube.
Has anyone managed to get around this by getting a VPN? I have no idea how to do this.
Anyone who thinks this is funny is an idiot and not aware of how truly dangerous censorship is.
UPDATE: Download Brave browser. Go to right hand corner. Select new private window with Tor.

Edit: It looks like you’ll need a VPN. Im not a very technical person but found a spreadsheet floating around with VPNs that work to access porn in NC or other states. Basically, almost all of em work but just wanted to get some more features as I will still be paying for it lol. That is usually what VPN is for, to access things that are locked by your provider. In my case, it is my landowner who owns the rooter the one blocking all nsfw websites and I use VPN to access it.
I feel sorry for you OP, I imagine how much it must suck that your government is doing this.
Are they literally blocking it? Or do they want you to identify yourself for accessing porn?
If it is the second one, since government agencies are so opaque, who knows if they record what you see and may use it as blackmail material in the future…

Edit: alternatively, you could just look up porn on Reddit. That also works and is free.
Unfortunately a lot of sites are blocking VPN access or keep sending you round in loops.
I know a few of them will not allow you to access member areas if using vpn.
Too many policies being pushed to control people with them claiming it’s about safety etc it’s BS I hope people fight it.

If the blocking is at the DNS level then you can get away with setting up your device to use another like cloudflare or openDNS.
If it goes further then you could just use a VPN.

Censorshipt that results in death, misinformation, etc… is ok. Censorship to take away your right to watch porn… is wrong.
