Which ping is better for NA (west)? Japan servers or SEA servers?

i just got into SEA servers and the ping is prety bad but i think i can deal with it if i just use champs with no skill shots.

however how is the ping for Japan?

to give an idea for my ping it takes like .5 secs for any action to be made.

is there a better way to know my actual ping number?

Canadian here and can hit 300 ms on jap servers.
At least I can play the damn game now. Excluding us outsiders out of this. Sad. :stuck_out_tongue:

Is there any confirmation on when NA will be playable? I’m fine waiting but I’m just curious when I’ll be able to without a VPN or something.

I’ve played on both and I don’t really see any difference in gameplay.

Japan is closer to NA so Japan will have a better ping

I live in Mexico and I’m playing at KR server with 250ms hahaha. At least we can play the game…

I think Japan and SEA are in the same server so the ping will be the same. I am always matched with Japonese in my games.

I’m in California and I tried making accounts for both servers, the results were pretty much the same.

I get around 200ms ping (occasionally below 200) by connecting to Singapore with a VPN, connecting to Japan is about the same but it can get closer to 250ms.

Also, even though I can play without a VPN after logging in the first time, I get much better ping with a VPN than without (I get around 500ms without it).

I’m Canadian too and downloaded the game on Jp server, how did U get it?

Which province are you located at? I am thinking of trying wild rift, but not sure if bad pings are worth it. I am in British Columbia.

mine with singapore is about 250-350

I second this! Japan should be better with ping for NA

I am - I used shuttle vpn and turbo vpn. I go between these two load the game / register with vpn then when done you can disco it.

Download taptap, download turbo vpn or shuttle vpn. When game is downloaded open it and let the game download its files, close it when its done… turn on vpn… reopen game…register (while on vpn) and then turn it off once you got access to it. Private message me if you need help. I’m willing to lend a hand.
