What are the original asian servers like?

So I’ve played official and private server AK off and on for years, but was curious. Has anyone ever played the actual Taiwan original X-legends version? Or the Chinese version? Are they p2w? And if you have tried them, is there any way to play them from the US? I tried to play the x-legend server but it just stuck on the login in screen.

I’m playing on the japanese server right now. Hope some of this info applies to the Taiwanese version:

I’ve never played the US version and I’ve only been playing the JP version for a few weeks (level 98) but the biggest differences from my experience are:

  1. In JP, you cannot reset subclass for free. You need to buy a subclass reset ticket for G-Coins (the paid currency)
  2. You can buy an awakening key for loyalty points

Here are the steps I used to sign up and play on JP:

  1. Make an account using the japanese website. https://genshin.x-legend.co.jp/
  2. DL and connect to japanese VPN. I use the university of tsukuba VPN which has Japan and Korea mainly. https://www.vpngate.net/en/
  3. Once connected, open the game.

Hopefully some of this applies to the Taiwanese version…
