When signing into certain servers, the vpn fails to assign you an IP address from that location, leaving your IP exposed from your current location. Additionally, when I leave the VPN on all night on my iPads, the next morning I typically have to log out and then log back in again to get any kind of normal speed. I have spent hours on the phone working with these guys. When my service expires, I am done with them. Here is the latest email I got back from them after spending an hour troubleshooting why I wasn’t getting a remote IP address (who knows how many other problems lurk underneath):

Hello,
Thank you for contacting VyprVPN Support via live chat today!
It was my pleasure to be able to assist you. Glad that we were able to address your inquiry during our live chat session. I checked with Support II and I discussed with them about the issue. Hence I am not escalating the ticket.
I came to know that our engineering team is currently aware of this issue and is working to correct the incorrect geolocating of certain VyprVPN IPs assigned to our USA and Europe VPN server. We do not have an estimated time as to when the issue will be resolved. However, you can be assured that your traffic, when connected to our Chicago or London VPN server, is exiting out of Chicago or London location.
If you need an IP that is properly geolocated to Chicago or London location, you will need to disconnect and reconnect to those VPN server until you are leased one that does properly geolocate to Chicago or London.
If you ever have additional inquiries, don’t hesitate to contact us again via live chat or by replying to this email.
Best Regards,
Andy

What version of VYPR are you using?
Download version 4.03 if you’re using Android and look up latest version for iOS.

I have latest versions on my iOS devices and tried the latest version of the Win 10 app about a month ago, while Talking to their tech support. On windows I prefer to simply set it up the vpn manually under Network & Internet in the control panel. The VyprVPN win app drains battery and resources on my laptop.
This exchange we are having here is the exact same time-wasting exchange I had with VyprVPN support the last time, only to get an email later per above acknowledging that vypr doesn’t have their act together. Someone other than Level 1 support who knows what’s going on needs to get on this board and explain how they are going to fix this, as it isn’t working Right now. And it’s been nearly a month since I raised this issue.
