Using Outline for office VPN

Hi, I’m quite new setting up VPN. I want to create a private network for a small remote office across the internet. I did get it to work with OpenVPN before, but it’s too much hassle to setup and maintain. DigitalOcean suggest Outline VPN for easier setup.

Now that I have installed Outline Manager and Client app in 1 device, I realise that the Manager does not display the VPN IP address of the client, so I’m not sure how each client can talk to each other.

Is it possible to do it in Outline or it’s not designed for this use case?

outline is not exactly a VPN. I think it is more like a shadowsocks that run on sock5.

If you have openvpn working, keep it working. it is a thing that you deal it with once and for all.

If you’re looking for an easy solution (hosted) consider Tailscale, but be prepared to pay $18/user/mo. once you grow.

Tailscale is awesome for a single-user use case, though. Up to 3 users they give you all the enterprise-y features you might want.
