Using a VPN to download Kaspersky

I have an activation code for kaspersky that was purchased in India, but have now moved countries and am trying to use it. I got the error message: “activation code invalid for this region”.

I am considering using a VPN to connect to an Indian server and download. Wondering if Kaspersky is able to detect this or if I will run into any problems doing so

You can also use VPN but it is better to contact Kaspersky support they will also help you out and get your product activated

Furthering DvineDecipher’s comment, you can actually ask them direct via their forum.

Select the type Home or Business, then the version of Kaspersky software your code covers. You might find, though, that you won’t be able to use the code.
