Why, when using Bitdefender VPN, does the NordVPN website say I’m unprotected? Just because it’s not coming from there server?
The NordVPN site is likely looking for its own servers, or possibly a broader category of known VPN servers. If the VPN server bitdefender is using isn’t knowing to it, or if it is only looking for its own, then that would explain why it shows “unprotected”.
Just turn the VPN off and google “Whats my ip”, then compare to the IP after you turn it on. If the IPs are different, you’re protected.
