I have installed tunnelbear’s desktop client in Windows 10 to login into the spotify client. I have two wifi connections at my home. And after installing tunnelbear, I cannot switch between those two seamlessly like I used to be able to.
It shows "No Internet, secured " in front of my second connection. I need to troubleshoot to connect to it but again, after that, I won’t be able to connect to the first one without troubleshooting.
I have faced this earlier and I needed to reset my windows to fix it. Any idea what to do instead of resetting it again?
Thanks.
No fix for this. The vpn is obviously your connected to your desktop via the initial connection. Its not supposed to change connections. Resetting it each time is the work around.
You could uninstall your wifi network adapter from device manager and see if that fixes it. You may wish to download the driver package from the manufacturer first to ensure you can set it back up.
Ah, That’s a bummer. I will reset the windows again this time.
Any idea how I can login to spotify without using Tunnelbear then? Because I will need to login again after resetting.
I remember doing that when I faced this issue the last time. Unfortunately, that didn’t fix the issue.
It even doesn’t get fixed after usinstalling Tunnelbear. It still leaves behind a disabled “Tunnelbear Adapter V9” in my Network Connections.
You could use a browser integrated client like foxyproxy (for firefox) I use this. It uses a vps connection for all traffic on your browser, but desktop apps and games won’t use the vpn, so you don’t have to disconnect when you get in game or anything.
No, That I know, I use Hola for that. I was asking about the desktop client. So, as per my understanding and like you clarified, these browser extensions don’t affect the traffic outside browser (i.e desktop apps and stuff) so I won’t be able to login into the spotify client. Correct me if I am wrong.
oh okay, yeah that’s right. I don’t think there is any other solutions. someone should make a vpn client that allows you to choose what applications to apply the vpn on
Ah. Alright. Thanks for the help
