Does anyone have success with VPNs to skirt this error on PSN? I know its due to region locking but i’ve never set up a vpn and made it work on psn before

Unless they ban for VPNs I doubt you’ll get banned, Sega has done this like 3 times before and they’ve never banned anyone for using VPNs.

There is a good chance they will remove the block after the mass hype dies off, if not well whatever VPNs don’t really make much difference on JP where you have higher ping anyways.

Apparently even some JP players are getting similar connection problems, which means it might be some wonky server issue. However, if it stays like this for more than a couple days, that would definitely seem like an intentional block.

Assume the absolute fucking worst when it comes to SEGA and its decision making process by default.

VPN’s still work, if you feel like going that route, however I have no idea when translations will be ready. Also the JP server is also completely full.

Oh I already know I ain’t playing today for shit so why waste my time, but yeah I might need to do VPN, but we’ll see, honestly looking like a giant cluster fuck of a launch but what mmo isn’t like that
