Restricting SSL VPN for users outside business hours

Hi all.

I just setup SSL VPN for 12 users are a small client of mine. Everything’s working well but my client has asked if it’s possible to restrict certain users (really, all users but the two who are managers) so that they can’t connect to the VPN outside of business hours. They’re using local users, not LDAP.

I could have sworn when I did some SonicWall training a while back that there was a way to accomplish this but I’ve had no luck poking around SonicOS.l

Is what I’m looking to do possible or no? Thanks!

You can do it by using firewall rules, I believe. Edit your SSLVPN → LAN Rule and in the Schedule choose something like ‘Work Hours’ or whatever of those schedules works for you that’s in the drop down.

They might be able to connect to the VPN, but they won’t be able to access anything inside the network.
