Hi, can someone help me.
Before I used a vpn I could forward a port to qBitTorrent without a problem. Now I’m using a vpn (privadoVPN) but I can’t forward a port anymore.
I setup a static ip on my computer on my wireless lan. But privado is using its own virtual lan. Is that the problem?
I could really use some help.
I don’t think privadovpn supports port forwarding

You would need to contact their support & find out if that VPN service supports port forwarding & how to enable that feature on their system.
AFAICT they do not.
PS - You cannot port forward on a VPN service that has no support for port forwarding, if that’s what you’re really asking…
Because this is such a bull* answer. It’s not privatevpn but privado. Besides that I have googled it otherwise I wouldn’t ask it here
Sorry about that. Too bad, PrivateVPN actually supports port forwarding.
I don’t see where PrivadoVPN supports port forwarding. Are you sure they do? Most VPN providers don’t.
I also think they don’t. But I thought maybe someone had a solution. I think I can better switch vpn
I’ve got SurfShark. Same thing, no port forward. I’ve been using it three years but I don’t use private torrents so doesn’t make much difference?
