Hey, so I’ve been using opera for about a year now, mainly because of how great the built-in VPN is, especially since i live in an area where a lot of websites are blocked. but recently, i bought a new and upgraded computer, and installed opera on it. But the problem i seem to be running into is the fact that opera’s VPN function stays stuck on “connecting” showing the VPN bar as yellow, with the optimal location button/settings only showing Optimal Location as the only setting. I’ve tried disabling my firewall/antivirus, clearing the opera cashes, as well as completely reinstalling it, but I’ve had no luck so far. Any advice will be greatly appreciated
Opera no longer provide free vpn. You can check it on google. They sold the rights if im not mistaken. I recently switched to opera. And the vpn also didnt work.
Are you sure? They still advertise on their website and their forms “free built in vpn”. Because if that’s true then they will probably lose a lot of users
Quite sure… If im not mistaken it was sold to symantec. Maybe theyre hiding about it.
They would have removed it.
