NordPass Master Password Not Working -- NordPass and Locker are Buggy and Appear Prone to Losing Critical Data

I am rapidly losing faith in Nord. Makes me wonder how protected I am with NORD VPM given how buggy PW and Locker are.

I am using a Windows 10 laptop.

For Nord PW: When I enter my enter my master password it is says “incorrect password.”
(I display the password so I know its correct).

However, if I open Nord Locker first (using its password), then try to open Nord Password (using its password), Nord Pass does open. so the Nord PW IS CORRECT.

However, if I reboot, and then try to re-open Nord Pass, it says “incorrect password” ( I
display the password so I know its correct.)

And half the time I am sent to an infinite loop in Catcha where the right answers still bring up more screens. I have to reboot to bypass this.

I contacted Customer Service. They told me to uninstall my current versions 4.3.9 of Nord Pass and reinstall a “newer” version for which they sent a link. However, the “newer version” was 4.3.9. Yet they want me to uninstall, then spend several hours re-entering all of my passwords – when there is no difference in the versions.

For Nord Locker, every time I tried to create a secure folder, it crashed my PC (Windows 10 version of the blue screen). After several rounds with customer service, they asked me to check if I had Dorkan Library installed and if I did, to delete those files. (I don’t know what program installed those, I suppose Nord VPN. This did fix the problem (though I have not done much with Locker yet to see if there are more bugs.) However, I would think they would be smart enough to delete Dorkan Library when Nord Locker is installed since they seem to know this makes PC’s crash with Nord Locker.

All of this makes seems to add up that the company is pretty incompetent. I have a two year contract for Nord VPM (which works OK, but often slows things down dramatically at times – I only use it rarely when I am accessing critical sites). I don’t feel safe having them managing my security. I asked for a refund give the multiple errors I am getting with their products, but they refused.

Anyone else having similar problems?

It’s pretty fucked. I’ve had the thing less than a week, and it’s asking for my master password, which I don’t recall ever setting up. No way to get a recovery code either. I’m about to go get another service.
