Macos Windscribe is trying to install a new helper tool.Any way to bypass it?

Hi.Since last update I m warned that Windscribe is trying to install a new helper tool.

Is there anyway to bypass it, and have Windscribe auto start and connect at login?

What is this helper tool ,I’m getting warned every time I login and start Windscribe?

You need to install the new helper tool to use the new version. Otherwise the app will not function. There are no concerns installing the new helper.

The helper tools facilitates the control of the firewall and setting up VPN connections.

I got this too, you have to install the helper. It seems to permeate your system and offer other services like adblock, I think.

Weird. I came here with the same problem, decided to one more install (didn’t erase and celan install. Just installed on top of the existing install) and the problem went away.

Thank you for your answer.How to download it?I keep accepting to download but every time I’m getting the same warning.

I am facing this issue. I reinstalled freshly downloaded vWindscribe_2.6.14.dmg

It installed, but now nothing happens when I click the icon to open the app.

I am on Mac 12.6.8

Any help is appreciated.

Did you download the latest version of the Windscribe app from the website? (2.6.14)

I am on 12.7.4 and it is still doing the same thing.

Yes I tried that too.Uninstalled old version ,installed the new and every time I login it asks for permission to install helper tool…
