I’ve been looking for a free VPN that allows P2P and SigaVPN is the only one I’ve found that seems like it could be legit.
Sure they’re based in the US but for a free VPN I can’t expect anything super appealing. I just want a provider that won’t log or sell my data and allows P2P traffic on their free servers.
P.S Before anyone recommends ProtonVPN, I specifically need to be able to use P2P and ProtonVPN’s free servers block P2P. The whole reason for me using a VPN is because Tor doesn’t support/recommend you use P2P on the network.
Well, it’s U.S based, but if it doesn’t matter you, and ProtonVPN isn’t right for you, SigaVPN is the second (?) best free VPN.
In fact, Proton and Siga are the only (trustworthy) free VPNs on the market. But remember, of course, you can never fully trust your VPN provider. They are Privacy by Policy and not Privacy by Design.
And talking about individual VPNs isn’t allowed here :>
I’ve been with them over a year since they started and it’s rock solid. He’s very privacy concerned. The owner answers most of the important questions in their latest review (2nd from bottom)
Check out Windscribe. I’ve been with them for about 6 months and they are very generous with their free plan. Blazing fast speeds on everything including torrents. I get 60 gigs free per month and you can also try out paid plan for a month with no cc. They have FF and Chrome extensions with Linux/Windows apps as well. Check em out
