Proton VPN just popped up this dialog:
Proton VPN detected that your current network is preventing a connection to the VPN. Enabling Smart Protocol might bypass these limitations.
{Link:}Read more about Smart Protocol.
Clicking the link has exactly the expected and only possible result, which is that it brings up a browser window, then fails to use the network that it just told me was unreachable to bring up an explanation of Smart Protocol.
Please present the Smart Protocol information using a method that is not guaranteed to fail.
Saying what app, what version and what OS might help.

If it was sarcasm, please don’t. If it wasn’t, please don’t (add that much not useful data).
Thanks
I had not intended to be sarcastic, and I apologize for oversharing on the data. I would ordinarily have been content to just say “Windows 11” but, knowing that ProtonVPN probably has kernel elements, I did not know for sure what low-level details might be helpful. Won’t happen again.
ok, thanks! In-sync now, let’s wait for the help to arrive.
