I am from Europe, but I have many friends from Asia, that I would really like to play with. However, it’s really not enjoyable when you have 1000 ms (fr, my friend had that much).
I heard that you can use a VPN to fix that, but how can I do this whole thing? Also, is it violating the game’s guidelines to do so? What do you recommend me?
You can’t play without lag. Vpn mask your location. Doesn’t move you to Asia. Still the same distance.
You physically can’t unless you go to Asia
VPN will be laggy asf, and it may get your account banned since VPN may cause other players to experience lag, causing the game to detect you as cheating
Also VPN’s can be sometimes detected as a third party software, which can cause you to be banned too
Of course VPN can be used, people have used it. But your ping will be extremely bad. And there’s a chance you can get banned from what I’ve heard.
i play with my friends who are in sea server (im in eu server), the lag is around 200 ms. its manageable if u play mechanically simple heroes like floyrn, lolita, angela etc
I understand. But is it anything I can do to at least not have so much lag?

Same, i am in the usa, sometimes play with my friend in indonesia (sea), ping around 120 ms. Need to adapt to hero that doesnt require a lot of clicking like loli, xborg, grock
Nope, there’s nothing much you can do
if the lag is 200ms or less it should be decent enough to play rank with a premade 5-man team, i even managed to play lolita in mythical glory lobbies last season.
but if the lag is more than 200ms i think its better to just avoid rank xD
Yeah i can manage anything under 200 but today my friend had 1016 ms and you know

is ur friend with 1000ms from eu or asia server?
Nothing, it is a matter of distance and technology
