Hey, so basically I have problems while using VR Chat, beside that I have 20/1 internet (which is 2.5MB max download per second) maps are downloading with 0.1-0.3MB/s perf and I must wait 10-20 minutes for single map download.
I tried using Hide.me VPN and USA central improved download so map was downloading like 2 mins but I got after disconnect.
I want cheap VPN that will not cost high amount of money and will just works.

Lol seems that ISP or VRChat fixed the issue and now maps are downloading with full speed without VPN!
A VPN won’t ever make your internet faster, that’s not how it works. Sorry.
Try out NordVPN from Germany/France, these should work reliably. If they don’t there is one month return policy.
From his explanation of issue, his internet is experiencing artificial throttling, he just wants it to be gone not wonders happening.
But my ISP is routing VR Chat badly and this is an issue. As I said VR Chat is using 10-20% of my internet and there were people on this sub who said VPN is improving connection stability.
So, the question is not stupid as it seems.
Yeah but that’s mostly for people who pirate huge amounts of stuff, it’s rare that they throttle for anything else

It’s just… you know… that’s not how VPNs work, man. Now, I’m not gonna pretend to know a lot about them, I don’t, but I know for a (fact?) that that’s not how they work.
