It’s been almost a week since this has been happening. Has anyone found a solution yet? The only temporary solution I know of right now is staying connected to the VPN all the time.
I have tried the change region to different countries on Spotify website thing too but it doesn’t help.
My account is currently set to USA region and it only works when I’m connected to a VPN. However, for some reason, VPN location doesn’t matter. It works with USA or any other country, expect for Greece, Portugal, and my own country Pakistan.
SIDE NOTE: I recently discovered that for some reason, my friend’s Spotify was working even though we use the exact same APK file and both our accounts are set on USA region. His is working without VPN and mine isn’t. To check if something was wrong with my phone or my personal APK file, I tried to log in his account on my app and asked him to log in my account on his. Turns out his was working on my app too and mine wasn’t working on his app. So this is a confusing thing too.
I was having the same issue with Spotify, I switched to revanced YT music.
Just checked my Spotify installed through xmanager and I’m not having an issue. You might want to try making an alt account just to see if it’s something to do with the account you’re on specifically.

Someone above talked about YouTube ReVanced, so I tried doing that and saw there’s also a Spotify ReVanced.
If you download ReVanced Manager from your Browser and replace your Spotify app with theirs you can bypass the anti piracy stuff Spotify put up.
I sent myself the old apk from my old phone and it works perfectly!! I can try to send it to you on discord or smth
so I have this problem too and the only real solution for me realistically is just using Spotify lite mod APK.
Force close the app and switch on a VPN before opening it again.
I’m just using ProtonVPN and a server from my home country works too. I can’t figure out why or what’s the issue and I’m fairly geeky.
Got a Sonos Symphonisk from Ikea. It looks and sounds great but, you’re pretty much stuck with Spotify if you want to use it from your phone.

I tried xManager, for some reason it didn’t work. Downloaded apk from apkmody and it is working fine for me
Guys atp jus use spotube, it’s great. These mod apks keep crashing. For a while before we get a proper alternative lets wait T-T. I miss my mod version ahhh
My yt apk version is not working either. Any alternative or idea on how to fix it?
One solution is that you make a new account and save your old playlists in that account, ( you have to first share the playlists and save their links somewhere)

u can just change ur region under settings to some other country (its a common issue with modfed spotify in india)
I don’t quite remember, but there was a trick where you use a VPN change your region to something else. Re change it back to USA and then turn off the VPN.
Don’t know if it’ll work or if I even remember correctly.
I found a WORKING modded apk file. I created a brand new free account just to test and everthing works 110%. I ended up paying for a month of service while I waited on a MOD.
