Got a new phone and had everything transferred over and now i can’t use tiktok

i’m so aggravated, what’s the point in bringing the app back if you can’t download it or update it. i have so much stuff saved on there and i needed an upgrade. i’m not willing to pay for a vpn. i’m really just ranting but how frustrating :roll_eyes:

i’m well aware tiktok was never actually back. i was more so expressing the disdain i have for allowing people who still have it to use it while making it unavailable to download or update. thanks!

Install VPN - Super Unlimited Proxy. It’d completely free it what I used. then switch your App Store region to Canada restart your phone then go back to the App Store and you should be able to install tik tok that worked for me. If that’s not working also switch your region in settings and restart.

I have Kaspersky as my virus software on my phone, and they offer a free VPN. I’m not sure if this helps since I totally get your frustration, but it might be a free option for you. I agree, why bring it back if you can’t download it?

I can’t believe people are still posting about this. It’s literally been all over the news about the new phones are not gonna be able to download Tik Tok I mean why is this such a surprise… in all honesty this is a blessing in disguise. You’re better off without it…. Trust me once you go through the withdrawal you’ll be OK…

Did you not switch your apps with your other data? SmartSwitch/CopyMyData were ones we used heavily at the wireless provider i worked for.

IOS METHOD

  1. Download the App "Free VPN: Unlimited VPN Proxy " Green background with black shield logo
  2. Delete the Tiktok App if you still have it on your phone
  3. Go to your App store and click the top right to view your profile
  4. Log into your account and click Country/Region
  5. Change it to Canada and Payment section “None”
  6. Billing section you can find an Canadian address generator on Google and then a phone number you can google as well, example: Canadian Dominos
  7. Open the Free VPN app and watch 2 videos for free 30 minutes VPN
  8. Now after you get the 30 minutes
  9. Go into your General settings app - Cellular and turn it off - If your carrier appears - turn it off also
  10. Go into your Location Services and turn it all off
  11. Now make sure your phone has no carrier service, no bluetooth, and no wifi
  12. Restart your cellphone
  13. Right when it boots up make sure your wifi is turned off by scrolling down on your screen and shutting it off
  14. Go into the VPN app and now turn on your wifi and connect the VPN
  15. Go the App store and download Tiktok - make sure the app works
  16. Go back to App store and click on your profile to change your Country/Region back to the US

The app isn’t back. If you could read you would learn that TikTok is not available to download anymore in the US and will not provide updates.

If you kept TikTok on a device it’ll work until it crashes and those fixes won’t be updated.

Get a life and do something more productive than stare at your phone for small clips at a time. Seriously get a fucking life

If it helps, its all censored and the algorithm is totally not the same any more. last time I logged in was days ago and Id use it all the time before. So maybe it’s not a bad thing its gone?
