After someone mentioned on my Macross 7 (and bonus, Macross Plus) on Disney Plus Japan schedule post that the Frontier TV show is now subbed, I checked that, the movies, and the Labyrinth of Time short, and they all have English, Chinese and Korean subs!
So if you have VPNs, go check 'em out!
I did post else where but according this article Frontier and Delta will be on D+ for Australia on the 10th so that could mean western territories might get it soon too! Everything new streaming this JULY 2024 on DISNEY+ Australia - TV Blackbox

Until it is DUBBED no need I watched a subtitled version years ago.
As nice as it is to have Official Translations, it will be weird getting used to all of the new names for things after everyone has accepted the FanSub versions. Varauta being changed into Ballota was just Yuck.

Why wait? There are already versions out there if you sail those seas. And the subs are good off you’re worried about that. That’s how I got into Macross in the first place a few years ago.

I have some of them for Frontier when it first came out a few years ago. Doing it again now I figured the quality will be a bit better. Also, I need to rewatch Delta and see if it’s as bad as I remember it.
No, I had it on Disney Plus in the US, no VPN. It’s gone now though so I’m guessing that was a “whoops” moment on Disney’s end. But I was able to play an episode then got a “you can’t watch this” message. Then it went away entirely.
Watch the Delta films. They are closer to what the writers wanted for it to be before studio interference messed up their plans.
