It normally works on ubisoft connect if you use a VPN for NZ times, it does seem to go off Australia time though rather than NZ so it might be an hour after midnight Auckland time. It’s worked before when i’ve tried on PC using a vpn though.

Can confirm this worked for me on PC for Avatar. I was Ubisoft+ at the time. Trying it out first thing tomorrow morning.

Yeah only works on Xbox. Sony cracked down on it. Only way is to create a new PSN with the New Zealand time zone and buy the game again with that psn
Yes and no. Create a NZ based psn account, buy pre paid NZ psn cards online, use them to buy the game on NZ Psn account store, download the game, play it on your main account.
Ends up costing like $5-$10 more though.
i think preload for pc is 10 am utc globaly so you could pre load on your own internet, and then a few hours later when midnight reaches new zeeland you can turn on the vpn so you don’t waste time downloading trough a vpn. thats is what im gona do
This is explained in my post above, they won’t become available until the game launches and then you can manually install them right away to get in the game as fast as possible.
The game isn’t released on Ubisoft plus yet so we technically don’t have a license for the game including the DLC

You gotta keep it set to NZ (Or wherever) until it’s released in your time zone if you wanna keep playing, but no, just change back to your actual location Tuesday morning or whatever - It’ll just restart your Xbox again when you change it back and you’ll be good to go.
There’s only the base game, every one downloads the base game. The deluxe and gold edition content and licenses are downloaded as add-ons which will become available when the game launches in NZ.

It won’t remove any accounts. You don’t have access to the email or anything you used to recover the password? You should get that fixed as eventually Xbox makes you re-enter account passwords every few months iirc
