Sorry for another tech support post but I’ve not been able to find an answer on this.
I was struggling to access my F1TV account and password resets weren’t working. I got onto F1TV tech support who recognised I was using a VPN. They told me that people can no longer use a VPN and F1TV. I turned off my VPN and they were right. I was then able to access my account/change password.
Problem being I needed the VPN to access live F1. Don’t know if there’s a workaround for this?
EDIT 2 to post the resolution. I needed to hop VPN location to get it to work. I didn’t think VPN was the issue as I couldn’t even get into my account or reset my password. Even when I got into the account the subscription didn’t appear. Anyway, hopping VPNs fixed it as the comments suggested. Thanks all
They’re likely buying a list of known IP addresses associated with VPN providers - and updated irregularly. So just try another server or country (which also supports F1TV Pro) with your current provider.
This is totally bullshit. I’m a journeyman and travel a lot,and I have a totally legitt subscription to F1TV. For the most part it works in any country I’m in, but a few times a year, when I’m in Germany or the UK, i have to use a VPN to get it to work. It should not be like this. If you buy a product/service it should work wherever you are.
My media server operates on VPN in a different country, so when I first started with F1TV they couldn’t recognize my subscription. I called their customer service line, explained the situation, they entered an exception, and has worked fine ever since ( 2 years now)
Durrr me, this fixed it. Thanks for that. I got myself into a bit of a mix with my account not signing in, password resets not working and when I did get logged in my subscription was not showing up. Hopping VPNs has fixed all that now though. Didn’t think it would block actual sign ins and account recovery but I know now!

It’s down to broadcast contracts, That is the whole reason geoblocking exists to begin with.
F1 would love F1TV to be available in every territory but broadcasters who would then lose subscribers and/or advertising revenue due to lost viewership push them to do the geoblocking in order to encourage people to watch via them.
It is also the broadcasters who push them to block VPN’s and other methods that may be available for people to view F1TV in a geoblocked region.
As frustrating as it is for fans in blocked regions, It’s just a part of broadcast contracts not just in F1 but many other sports and media. There’s movies and TV series that are only on Netflix in certain regions for the same reason.
